Painting glass objects can be complicated if you let it. In this video, I show you that by focusing on looking and painting what you see rather than what you know, you can paint glass! It’s about values and shapes and simplifying by squinting. I am working on Wallis paper toned with watercolour.
Soft pastels are wonderful and addictive. A good way to start is with a small set of pastels. Here I am using Unison’s Starter box of 18 soft pastels. In my other videos, I have used starter boxes of soft pastels by Schminke, Sennelier, Great American, and Holbein.
