Quick Life Drawing Demo in Charcoal
Quick life drawing poses used to be my Achilles heel, but learning to focus on these 3 essentials helped me learn how to create satisfying drawings in a limited amount of time.
Most people consider 20 minutes to be a long pose, however to me that is a medium length pose since I usually take at least 2.5 hours per figure drawing. This meant I was totally out of my element in most other people’s drawing sessions where poses typically begin with 1 minute gestures and progress to a 20 minute pose. This video focuses primarily on poses that are 20 to 40 minutes in length and rather than 1 to 5 minute gesture drawings.
