How to Draw a Dynamic Pose Using a Perspective Grid

In this video, you will learn why it can be very helpful to use a perspective grid when drawing your dynamic character poses. It will help you to envision depth against the blank white canvas, which will aid you in drawing more complex forms.

Complex figure poses is not an easy task but with lots of studies and practice it will become easier to do. Try drawing a few warm-up sketches every day before you get into your illustration work. I always feel better at drawing when I take the time to do at least 10-15 poses to warm up. These should be fast and energetic. Do some from life and some from imagination. Also, make sure to time the studies. Try some at 10 minutes and some at 5, and so on.
