Realistic PORTRAIT – Study in cyan and magenta
Today I demonstrate how to paint a portrait in two layers : (underpainting or dead layer and overpainting with flesh colors). In this time lapse painting demonstration, I take you from the very early stages of the block-in drawing all the way to the end. You can see how the painting evolves and how I build the face progressively.

Palette : Titanium white, yellow ochre, burnt umber, cadmium red, quinacridone magenta, ultramarine violet and phthalo turquoise light.
