Plein air touch ups – Oil painting

In this video I show you how I finish my plein air oil paintings in the studio. Check out the link below for the original video of the plein air version. While some work is finished outdoors, most of the time I only complete my plein air oil paintings to about 80% on site. This allows me to bring the painting home out of the sunlight and study it for improvements, etc. This is the time when I add more texture to the new paint layers and correct any draftsmanship issues with the shapes, etc.
