The Daily Yupari | DIY ART PANELS for OIL PAINTING
In today’s video I will be sharing my favorite “do it yourself” oil painting panel. Since I am now uploading videos daily, I thought I would begin to share art materials videos as well. These panels are very cost efficient and develop a very nice surface after a few layers of oil paint. My absolute favorite surface for oil painting is still oil primed linen, but they are incredibly expensive. These panels are excellent for quick studies and highly finished paintings. The archivability of these panels is not known to me. If archivable paintings “paintings that will last as long as a Rembrandt” are what you intend to create, then it would be much safer to go with top quality linen.
