Painting Water in Oil

I forgot how much work goes into painting water… But I love it 🙂 This took about 15 hours over 2 days to make, plus lots of breaks to stretch my back after hunching over those tiny details. Thinking about getting into more water pieces again – just have to find the time!
Oil with gel medium on 6″x6″ paint panel primed with acrylic.
