Painting a horse in oil and acrylic paint – by Lachri

In this time lapse painting demonstration, I walk you through the steps I used in painting a horse in oil over acrylic paint on a Fredrix blue label ultra smooth canvas. I used liquitex basics for my acrylic underpainting, and Winsor & Newton for the oil paint. My oil mixing medium is Liquin.


This video seems to be extra fast given all the tips I wanted to share, but to make up for it I have a 5 min real-time clip of the eye being painted that can be found in the video section of my facebook page
