How to draw a portrait as a part of learning how to draw the head, facial features, people, and the figure. This isn’t so much an indepth tutorial like my other videos but more a drawing demonstration in which I show you how to draw a portrait using stipples or stippling. Stippling, unlike other various shading techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, scribbling, etc. creates a unique texture and can be a timely process so it challenges your patience pretty well, but the results are well worth it 🙂

The pen tip sizes 005 and 05 the workhorses for this demonstration, then I used the 08 to embolden the contours and shadows and create a more pronounced contrast.
