Nitram’s Liquid Charcoal demonstration – Cesar Santos
In this video Cesar Santos will demonstrates how to use Nitram’s Liquid charcoal to block in the first stage of tonal mapping. Then he starts adding more detail with charcoal stick. After that he uses a sponge to soften the drawing and to take off the charcoal powder in excess. At this point he uses a soft eraser to uncover some little brighter details then he keeps building the drawing with the charcoal stick. In the last steps of this demonstration he alternates all tools used so far: he add some details with the charcoal stick then he blends the value with the sponge and uses the soft eraser to adjust the tones. The result is quite amazing!
