My Art school experience | Pros & cons – Public or Private?

I hope this video helps some of you who are having a hard time deciding what sort of art education you should pursue, if you want to pursue art education!

I have been to both a public general education university and a private / for profit art school, so hopefully my advice is able to give you some insight and perspective when making your decision! Is art school worth it? Should you go to art school?

These are all questions you have to ask yourself, so hopefully my art school experience can help! Schools like Calarts and RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) can be great, but may not offer what you are looking for, and a public university may be a better fit, or vice versa!

The schools I went to were:

CSU – Colorado State University
RMCAD – Rocky Mountain College of Arts and Design
