Mix realistic skin colors and flesh tones for painting like a pro! | MSM 14

Throw away that nasty tube of “flesh colour” paint and learn how to mix realistic skin colours with acrylic, oil, or water colour paints! Follow me on Insty: https://www.instagram.com/fieldey/ and sign-up to my MadSkillz MasterClub newsletter: http://www.fieldey.com/madskillz-masterclub.html and get ready to take your art to the next level!

In this video I’ll be discussing skin undertones – how skin can appear cool pink, warm yellow or blue black and I’ll show which shades to mix to create these common colors.

I will show you a highlight colour, a mid-tone colour and a shadow colour for four different skin types: cool red fair (red heads), yellow based fair (olive skin), medium warm and also very dark.

The colours we’ll be using are: Pyrrole Red, Cadmium Red Light, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Umber, Raw Umber and Prussian Blue.
