Grisaille Painting | Mouth Cast | Glazing Technique

This is my first Grisaille cast painting. The plaster cast of the mouth from Michelangelo’s David sculpture.

The colors that I use are:
Ivory Black by Rembrandt
Flake White by Williamsburg
Raw Umber by Utrecht
(in this painting I used raw umber by williamsburg, but I recommend Utrecht’s version of raw umber because it is warmer.)

At the end of the video I show a time-lapse of how the painting progressed.
