Advancing with Watercolor: Brush strokes

This is part five of a muti-part series stemming from a recent trip to Florence Italy along with 10 other artists.- We traveled to the Hill town of San Gimignano for a day of painting watercolor in the open air. The subject in this work the valley below San Gimignano and rendering the rolling hills and farmlands with expressive brush stroke in watercolor. I demonstrate different ways to think about using the watercolor brush, and the philosophy or mind set behind these marks.
