Watering Can Bouquet – easy acrylic painting tutorial
This week on Paint Along With Skye, we are creating a lovely Watering Can Bouquet just in time to welcome the coming Spring. This acrylic painting tutorial is designed for beginner-level acrylic painters. This painting is completely customizable, you can make your watering can any color you’d like, and fill it with a beautiful bouquet of your own creation. This painting would make the perfect project for a Springtime or Easter painting party!
The first official day of spring is March 21 this year, with Spring Equinox marking the beginning of the season. The equinox means that we’re exactly halfway between mid-winter and mid-summer. There are two equinoxes every year, one marking the beginning of Spring in March and the other marking the beginning of Fall in September.
The first flowers that are popping up in my neighborhood this time of year are the gorgeous bulbs like the tulips pictured in today’s bouquet. I also included a branch from a flowering tree. What sort of blossoms are popping up in your neighborhood this time of year? If you’d like to paint along and share your work, be sure to join my group, The Art Club, on Facebook. Link to join below! Until next week, happy painting!
