Tips for Character Design and Composition
One of my best friends has a birthday this week! And for his birthday, I really wanted to make an awesome poster of him with a bear as a fantasy lumberjack warrior! And since this would involve me going through the whole process of designing a character, laying out a piece and making a fully rendered poster with background and all, I decided it would be beneficial to some people if I made a sort of art tutorial.
In this video, I give lots of tips and tricks for designing characters and planning the composition of an image. Plus, you get to see me turn one of my best friends into a fantasy hero with an awesome battle axe and a pet bear that very much resembles paddington!
