Rainy Day Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

In this video, we’re gonna get together and learn how to paint an abstract landscape in palette knife as well as raindrops on a window. This is a good lesson for beginners on up!

I’m painting on a 16×20-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

I used:
• A 1-inch flat brush
• A 1-inch soft filbert (filbert shape doesn’t matter. Just make sure it’s very soft)
• A 5/8-inch angle brush (or whatever you’re comfortable making straight lines with)
• A very small detail brush
• A long palette knife

I’m using Liquitex acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Mars Black
• Titanium White
• Transparent Mixing White or Zinc White (optional)
But you can use any colors you like.
