You don’t need to buy the most expensive pastels, and sometimes the best pastel pencils – are not the dearest. Carbothello is a great pencil range at a good price. Pastel papers, are very important to your success with soft pastels, if you dont get a suitable paper then you will struggle to layer pastels at all. I have a youtube video specifically on paper.
