Painting Ocean Waves in Oil – Breaking Through
In this time-lapse video I up-scaled my recent 12×12″ plein air ocean wave study from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to a 24×20 inches seascape oil painting “Breaking Through”. Both original artworks are available on evavolf.com
For this ocean wave painting I used the following colors: ultramarine blue and veridian for water, sky reflections and foam; mauve and Payne’s grey with Naples yellow for the wet sand. I always Liquin or linseed oil as a medium.
