Old Wizard – Digital Painting by David Luebbert

I have spent years creating and improving my ZBrush wizard model, mostly inspired by the illustrations of the Brothers Hildebrandt, and this painting used a reference of that model rendered with Keyshot.

I always begin my digital paintings or drawings with a basic sketch outline to work from just as I would do with a painter’s canvas, board or paper. I like to try to paint or draw anything I can see.
