LifeDrawingLive: the anatomy class

Welcome to our special life drawing class, streamed live from our historic Life Room! The class is open to everyone, no matter your experience or ability, and we hope you’ll join in.

Celebrating the 250th anniversary of the RA Schools, and inspired by our ‘The Anatomy Professor’ and ‘Learning to Draw’ displays as well as our forthcoming exhibition ‘The Renaissance Nude,’ this class focuses on how to draw human and animal anatomy, using real life models. The class is hosted by the RA Artistic Director Tim Marlow and the artist, writer and broadcaster Dr Sarah Simblet, a specialist tutor of anatomy.
