How to Paint Roses – Oil Painting Demo

How to paint Crimson Roses in oil paint with master aritist Bill Inman.
For those who don’t have 3 hours to watch the full version of my Art Class Oil Painting Demo Parts 1 & 2 of Crimson Roses, I made this fast motion video just for you – this demo was done for my art class in two sessions one week apart.
In this art tutorial Impressionist Bill Inman demonstrates for his class how to breathe life into loose color masses and reveal the flowers hidden within.
This is not like the formula paintings Bob Ross created that so many artists around the world have come to love.
My painting style is based on principles professional artists use like abstract color shapes, edge quality for greater realism, shadow and highlight, color theory or convincing color relationships and establishing correct values throughout the painting.
The full art video contains voice over instruction and shows every brushstroke of the painting process. Join the Master Oil Painting Monthly Membership and view the full instructional video, along with hours of other fine art instruction.
And because I love my YouTube folks, be sure to use Coupon Code ‘YOUTUBE’ on the checkout page for 30% off most training on the site! Most of my landscape painting is alla prima or wet on wet and created from plein air studies, imagination and digital reference photos.
