How to draw comics: Inking techniques with a PENTEL Brush Pen
Welcome, today I’ve shared a short video on my comic creating process.
The subject is my KAIJU GIRL COMIC which I produced during 24HR COMICS DAY.
I start with breaking down the script into thumbnail layouts which I then draw onto a blank page, I layout very rough pencils in blue, as I do my own inking, my blues are very rough because I’ve kinda blocked out the shadows in inks in my minds’ eye.
Then its straight inks, starting with a Pentel brush pen pass followed by a 0.4 felt tipped pen for hatching and details.
The blues I removed later in Photoshop.
