How To Break The Rules Of Composition | IMAGINPORTRAITS
We’ve all been told the same rules on how to crop and place objects in pictures, but we’ve also been told that these are only guidelines. I’m here to show you how to be a rebel and break the rules with new more intuitive rules.
I go through Balance Between Light And Dark, explaining how “weight” can affect where your eyes will rest in an image
then I explain Direction/The Story, a very interpretive and individual rule that will make any image composition YOUR composition, reflecting how you think and imagine.
[EDIT] Yes, I know I had some audio problems 🙂 I’m a photographer, not a sound producer 😀 But I will definitely fix it, as I have in many other videos 🙂 This one just went a bit fast, as the days following this were extremely hectic and confusing as the cat shown in the video passed away in a freak accident.
But thanks for all your feedback, really appreciate it 🙂
