Start by sketching the outline of the figure. Don’t worry about the details at this point. Just get the basic proportions and structure down. Once you have a basic outline, begin to add in the details. Don’t forget to add shadows and highlights to create depth and realism. Remember to keep your drawings loose and expressive! The goal is to capture some of the model’s life force in the pose.
