I love doing drills. They’re an integral part of my copperplate calligraphy practice.
This set of drills is different from the ones I normally practice. This is a “quick” way to warm up my fingers for practice and a nice break from the usual set of drills that I do — which I’ll share with you in the future.
These drills should be done slowly and carefully. This is also a great coordination exercise — try to let your strokes touch the box, but stay within them.
Have fun with these! It doesn’t have to be perfect :).
