Digital Art VS Traditional Art Challenge – Draw a Dragon
I am a digital artist. Working as an animator for a living, I have almost always done my work digitally, only using traditional for the occasional sketch or doodle. BUT! A lot of my subscribers have expressed an interest in seeing what I can do with traditional art. So in this episode I am going to draw the exact same image of a dragon Wyvern taking flight on paper then on my Cintiq 22HD (I know my ipad is in the thumbnail, I had some glitches and had to switch to cintiq but it didn’t look nice on the thumbnail).
Anyway, yeah, I draw a dragon on paper with limited art supplies then challenge myself to draw the same thing in a digital format.
Spoiler alert, I still like digital art better, but the traditional drawing was fun too.
