O V E R V I E W
Back in 2016, I caught up with some old film school friends. We decided to get back into film making and create several short films. I put together the script for this and we shot it in early 2017. It was a learning process to work on a short film again and it helped lift my confidence after a long time absent. We worked with a minimal budget and had about 5 days to shoot this film. It took awhile to finish it off in post. There was a time when it sat untouched. In early 2019, Sketchbook was ready to be screened. I’m happy with how it turned out and the themes it portrays. It was fun working with everyone involved and I greatly appreciated their help. It was a cool experience making a film again.
